We exclusively use Payen brand head gasket sets on the engines we build in our shop upto a 2.98" bore (+0.040).   This head gasket set is for the recessed bore blocks found on 1972-1976 cars, due to engine swaps, check your block before ordering.
Payen's head gasket material is excellent, and comes with a rolled on sealing coating that also enhances gasket grip.
